A syndrome marked by persistent splenomegaly, exceptionally high levels of malaria antibody, and hepatic sinusoidal lymphocytosis, possibly caused by a disturbance in T cell control of the humoral response to recurrent malaria. Also called tropical splenomegaly syndrome.
